FISHERY INDEPENDENT SURVEY

This program is in its early stages of development and scoping but aims to employ a standardized survey design to assess adult Dungeness crab abundance and derive parameters needed for fisheries managers to develop a harvest forecast model. This work would be done as a collaboration between tribal and WA state co-managers and would partner with commercial crabbers.
