The Pacific Northwest Crab Research Group (PCRG) formed in December 2018 with the mission of promoting and supporting a sustainable Dungeness crab population in the Pacific Northwest. We are a collaborative collection of partners from tribal, state and federal governments, as well as NGOs and academia, looking to address critical research gaps in our knowledge of this commercially, ecologically, and culturally significant species.
In late 2021 the group became a program coordinated by Puget Sound Restoration Fund (PSRF) -- a non-profit organization that works collaboratively to restore marine habitat, water quality, and native species in Puget Sound through in-the-water projects.
